Umm Hi I know I was banned here a while back But there was horrible misunderstanding ...for that I am sorry everyone looks great If anyone here cares I am good have a degree in english education and am a sub teacher here in cali also work in a pharmacy...been there for 8 years! My family has grown I have a baby neice and I love every minute with her. My momma has had some bad health but is ok now!! she is getting married. I am single thank God ..men are n ot worth the trouble |

I got a promotion
Full time with benefits and half off tuition and semi-flexible hours. I start in a month or so which gives time to train my two
replacements and finish my half semester classes.
To give a reference, I started at a help desk two years ago and have moved through the ranks. I'm nervous but really really excited!! I have to become fluent in Perl. But, EEEE!! /dance And happy friday everyone

I work at the University of Utah and I'll be a systems admin in a PC group there that supports the library. It's sort of a broad title in that I'll
be doing whatever is asked. Whether it is writing an application, maintaining hardware inventory, assisting librarians and staff with their machines and the
annoying specialized librarian software, and helping the part time employees to maintain the computer labs we operate (500ish machines on campus).
I'm in a group of about 10-15 people who do this. Everyone develops their specialty in the group. Some do networking, some do work on the images for our machines, etc. I don't know what I'll be specializing in yet. My position was sort of created for me and so it's going through the last bit of red tape. I'll start in 6ish weeks. I'm still super excited. :) |

 We're really excited. Especially since we just found out its a boy AND a girl!! I'm getting excited, its
getting really close now .. my maternity leave starts Feb 6th, and I can't WAIT to get out of his hellhole they call an office! Only 115 days!!!!
Staci - whenever I see you on MSN you're either "busy" or "away." So maybe that's why.
So glad everyone's doing well and having success everywhere. Makes me happy to see we've all come SO far.

I can't remember what I wrote already in this thread, but I'm at Cardiff University now studying a Computer Science degree. It's pretty cool and there's been lots of good times already (and some not so good ones, both usually involving alcohol to varying degrees ). Looking forward to the next 3
years at uni and hopefully then getting a job that I enjoy and get paid lots for . Nice to see lots of familiar names and reading what everyone's been up
to, interesting stuff!

Mikey, I can't believe your at university now! Congrats, that's so cool. Your growing up before our very own eyes!
Things are good with me. Busy with work and my union. I'm an officer, so there's lot's to deal with there. I'm also gearing up for a big birthday party... my 40th on November 6th. We're going to have it at a restaurant in town. It started out with like maybe 5 people, and now a 100 or so are coming. lol I talked too much! hehehe. Then I'm headed to Las Vegas on the 9th to celebrate for 3 days.. yay!

I have some exciting news! I won a VIP benefit dinner package with a private concert with John Tesh! It's going to be on november 8th on my birthday
weekend! I can't wait! We even get vip parking! hehehe. Oh, and there's a photo op, with meet and greet too. It's a formal evening occaision. I
can't believe I won it! Then the next day is vegas! Mandalay bay! yay!
