For those who remember, I'm pretty much a game freak hehe. I've gone from Meridian59 in 1996, to Evercrack, Dark Ages of Camelot, World of Warcraft,
Star Wars Galaxes, Neverwinter Nights (1 and 2), and Second Life. I am no longer playing any of those games (except for a little WoW) because basically, the
graphics were not up to par with what I really wanted. Now I'm playing a game called Perfect World.
For those who haven't heard of it, it's a game from China that has monsters to kill and quests to perform. You can choose to be a Human Warrior or Magician, an Elf (who can fly) Archer or Priest, or a beastkind. The males of beastkind are a type of Barbarian that can be Pandas, Wolves, Tigers or Lions. The girls look like people with accessories and can be rabbits, foxes, kitties, antelopes or a little demon thingy hehe. The female fox race can also tame pets.You can join clans (guilds) and fight over ownership of Territories. It's a free to play game, but they have a real life cash shop with some novelty items (clothes, cool mounts) and also with some nice items for playing (like books that give back mana or health when you drop too low). The best items for playing the game (things with stats and such) are gotten from quests and monsters..so the cash shop isn't necessary in my opinion unless you want to level super fast.
I originally started on the Malaysian-English server but the translations were so bad I had a hard time dealing with it. Now I'm playing on the International version, but their cash shop prices are triple that of the Malaysian servers. There is a new version being opened up in Europe and they have promised their cash shop prices will be fairly low.
I'm starting a guild over there and wanted to know if anyone would like to join me? For starting a guild I will get some free beta keys and would love to have friends here play in closed beta with me. (Nice and bold so no one misses it!) The keys will be limited though so I can only give them to a certain number of people
I'm inviting friends and
family from other places too, so the first people to ask for a beta key gets it. Closed beta will be starting soon, and will last 10 days or so. They'll be
giving out some rewards to people who are in closed beta also. Then they'll wipe everything and have open beta. Everyone with open beta characters will
take them to the open game version once it goes live.
Anyway! If anyone is interested post here and I'll send you a PM about it hehe. Hope SOMEONE wants to play with me, it's lonely without my old friends
