For the life of me, I cannot make a meatloaf that's worth eating. I can make a nice brick of meat, or a giant pile of mush, but nothing worthy of
eating. I love meatloaf too which makes it all the worse.
Can someone give me a good recipe they like? If it's any help, I like my ML to be nice and firm(insert joke hear) because there's nothing better than a
nice sammich the next day.
I need a good meatloaf recipe.

Note that I'm guessing on the amounts of some of the additives - you may want to add more or less according to your taste...I eye everything I put in my
meatloaf except for the ground beef
2 lbs ground beef 1/2 to 1 cup of bread crumbs (less crumbs for firmer meatloaf) 1 egg medium onion chopped medium green bell pepper chopped half can of sliced mushroom pieces and stems (or the full can if you like a lot of mushrooms) Heinz 57 Sauce (2 tablespoons should do) - or if you prefer A1 or BBQ sauce (sauce choice really depends if you prefer sweet or tangy, you can also add a couple dashes of Frank's Red Hot for an extra kick) salt to taste pepper to taste garlic powder to taste Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl and kneed together until everything is evenly mixed in the ground beef. Put in a loaf pan, bake at 350 for about an hour |

Make a traditional meatloaf but instead of onions/ketchup add in cheddar cheese and pizza/marinara sauce.
REALLY good.

I hate meatloaf but I will eat my mom's... it's pretty good. I'll have to get the exact measurements from my mom and post them here but it's
pretty simple and good. It's something like this...
2 pounds ground beef Chopped Onion 2 eggs Crushed Saltine crackers (this makes it better than when using bread crumbs) ketchup Salt and Pepper A few slices of bacon baked over the top Again, I'll come back with the exact amounts but this is a darned good meatloaf. =) |

This is the best and easiest meatloaf ever
1 lb ground beef 1 box stove top (if you can find savory herbs that's the best) 1 can tomato soup Couple tablespoons of parmesan cheese Mix. Put into loaf pan. Bake at 350 for an hour. Let cool for 20 minutes before slicing. Then eat.
I'm telling ya... stupid easy.

I do:
2 pounds ground beef 3/4 cup Italian style bread crumbs 1 egg 2 Tbsp worchestershire sauce 1 Tbsp dried oregano 1 Tbsp basil 1/2 cup ketchup Mix all of the above ingredients together. Spray a baking pan with non-stick cooking spray, then form the meat mixture into a loaf in the pan. Once the loaf is formed, cover the top and sides with more ketchup. (however much you would enjoy, my kids love it just smothered. lol) Then bake it for appx. 45mins at 350. |

i too hate meatloaf BUT i will eat mine haha in mine you use 2 lbs of ground beef.... 1 can or BLACK beans pureed and a package of onion soup that is all and
makes the BEST sammies the next day...with mayo!! yumm
